NVWA imposed high fines for false vitamin claims, no payment slip yet

In 2018, the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) issued fines to companies that made unjustified health claims about vitamins during the coronavirus pandemic. The amounts were sky-high at the time, but six years later, no payment has been made.

According to the PZC, the fines are still outstanding. The NVWA has not yet responded to the question of why the payments have not been made.
